Up for auction is a brand-new copy of Aaron Lewis' critically acclaimed "The Road" CD. After spending much of 2011 touring with his Staind lineup, Lewis returned to the studio to create a full-length follow-up to his country EP, "Town Line." Like that 2011 EP, "The Road" is a modern-country album celebrating Lewis' redneck roots, highlighted by "Grandaddy's Gun," "Party in Hell" and the hit singles "Endless Summer" and "Forever."
Released on Blaster Records, the 10-song album has received critical acclaim, with Rick Florino of Artistdirect rating the album five out of five stars. He praised Lewis' performance, saying "he's a vivid storyteller and brilliant lyricist." Daryl Addison of Great American Country reported that "on 'The Road,' Aaron creates a work that honors country tradition while injecting his own soul and experience." And Dan MacIntosh of Roughstock.com rated the album four stars, saying, "it sounds like an honest to goodness country album, start to finish."
