Up for auction is an autographed photo of Hank Williams Jr. and a copy of his latest CD,"Old School, New Rules," which hit No. 4 on the U.S. country charts. Released in 2012 on the hit-maker's own Bocephus Records/Blaster label, the album "finds Hank Williams Jr. full of swagger and defiance while delivering his signature blend of country, rock, and blues. As a songwriter, he returns to familiar themes—politics, heartache, his family legacy—with the down-home pride that’s won him a fervent following over the decades."

On the CD, "Williams pitches into both his former associates at Monday Night Football and the Obama administration in the scathing 'Taking Back the Country,' which includes snippets of Hank Sr.’s iconic vocals. He likewise defends his country’s good name in “We Don’t Apologize for America” and offers a topical working man’s anthem with 'That Ain’t Good.' Beyond the social commentary, numbers like 'I’m Gonna Get Drunk and Play Hank Williams' (a duet with Brad Paisley) and 'I Think I’ll Just Stay Here and Drink' (featuring its composer, Merle Haggard, on vocals) take Williams back to his honky-tonk roots."

In short, “Old School” serves up a nostalgic toast to his fellow country music road warriors. Hank Jr. stays true to himself in this ornery, uncompromising set.--iTunes
